Wedding ceremony

Before the vows, something just for you

Wedding weekends move quickly. These ceremonies make a still room inside them, a place to be spoken to, and held, by the people who love you most.

My mom continues to describe it (the wedding weekend parent ceremony) as the most impactful moment of the weekend, and my dad still tears up when he talks about it. I don't think any of us expected just how deeply it would move us. During the ceremony, I felt so much love that it genuinely felt like my heart was going to burst.

The bridal ceremony

A gathering of the women closest to you, held during your bridal era whether it's at your bachelorette, bridal party, or wedding weekend. Blessings are spoken aloud. Stories are told. You, as the bride, get to receive loving reflections from your friends and share who you want to be as a wife as you step into this new chapter. You arrive at your wedding day already full.

She creates such a beautiful container to just drop in and be present, and she has the gift of doing so, so gracefully. This gift was truly priceless because we were able to share our hearts with them, share how much they mean to us, and give gratitude.

The wedding weekend parent ceremony

Parents rarely get their moment. This ceremony turns toward them, the raising, the letting go, the love that carried you here. It is often the part of the weekend people cry through, and the part they talk about for years.

It was part of the weekend of the wedding that we didn't know we needed. Having in the midst of all the events to stop all of that for a moment in time and be very intentional and very thoughtful about their gratitude towards us as parents. It filled our hearts with so much love in a way that we had not anticipated at all.

How it is built

Nothing is templated. I listen first, then compose a ceremony from your own words, your family's language, and the rituals that feel true to you. On the day, you hold nothing but your own presence. I hold the rest.

Kait was amazing and guided the session with much sensitivity and calmness. We think Kait has a gift for helping others express their gratitude toward the people they are engaging with.
