Hi, I’m Kait!

I’m so happy you’re here. I would love to tell you a little bit about why I created this company. I never set out to become a ceremony officiant. But it was not until a close friend asked me to lead a baby blessing for her that I understood what that really meant.

I said yes without fully knowing what I was stepping into. I gathered her closest people, and together we created a space for her to be seen in the middle of one of the most vulnerable seasons of her life. What I witnessed that day changed me. I watched a mother who had been carrying so much alone suddenly feel held. Not just supported in the practical sense, but truly surrounded. Her community showed up with intention, and I saw firsthand what happens when people slow down long enough to pour love into someone who needs it. She left that day lighter, less alone in her pregnancy, and more certain that she was not walking through this on her own.

That experience changed me to my core. I could not unsee what ceremony makes possible. So I started holding space for other major life moments, beginning with bridal ceremonies and gratitude ceremonies during wedding weekends. What surprised me was how quickly these became some of the most emotional, most talked about parts of the entire weekend. Long after the reception ended, people were still talking about the ceremony.

One groom’s mother said after the ceremony to her son “this is the best gift you could’ve given me, better than any material possession.” A bride told me the ceremony we created together was “up there with [their] actual wedding vows and ceremony.” Those moments confirmed what I already felt in my body: that this work matters, and that people are hungry for it, even when they do not have the words for what they are hungry for.

My mission now is simple, even if the work itself is sacred. I follow the thread of love that runs through every major life moment, whether that is the arrival of a baby, the joining of two lives, a birthday, anniversary or the passing of someone we cherished. I help people slow down long enough to actually feel how loved they are, by the people around them and by their own lives. Because I believe that is what we are all truly craving underneath everything else. Not more moments. Just the space to actually feel the ones we already have.

My ceremonies carry no religious tone, and I meet every guest exactly where they are. I have led ceremonies with deeply religious parents and entirely non religious parents standing in the same room, and both left feeling like the ceremony was made just for them. That is the commitment I bring to every gathering: to read the room, and to craft something that lets everyone there receive a little more love than they walked in with.
